The documentary »Solidarność Według Kobiet« by Marta Dzido and Piotr Śliwowski is being shown. In the early 1980s, the free and self-governing Polish trade union »Solidarność« had more than 10 million members, half of them women. The film reconstructs their barely told story and takes a new look at Poland's political transformation. It makes the women's courage as tangible as the harshness of the security organs against their commitment.
