About
Die Unbegrabenen. Traces of Violence" is an exhibition at the project space roam projects e.V. in Berlin. Curated by Prof. Dr. Márcio Seligmann-Silva, it centres on the series "Traces of Violence" (2021) by Marcelo Brodsky, made up of thirty altered historical photographs, alongside texts and a video by Forensic Architecture and Forensis. Its subject is the German colonial army's war of extermination against the Ovaherero and Nama in what was then German South West Africa, and the death camp Shark Island near Lüderitz. The exhibition is accompanied by a series of lectures, discussions, screenings and guided tours.
