This guided tour leads through the exhibition "Metaxy : Zwischen Zerstörung und Wiederaufbau" at the Akademie der Künste am Hanseatenweg. It is an inclusive tour for blind and visually impaired people together with sighted visitors. The project by the Akademie der Künste in cooperation with ARCH+ looks at the period between destruction and reconstruction, at that uncertain moment when how societies deal with loss, guilt and memory is still open. It shows positions from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Israel, Yemen, Palestine, Poland, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine and the USA, alongside an exhibition architecture that retraces the floor plan of the former buildings on the site.
