The screening of „Doitscha. Alles geht vorüber.“ is followed by a conversation with its director and lead actor. The film by director Ester Amrami, based on Adriana Altaras' novel „Doitscha“, tells of a Jewish mother steering her intercultural family through adolescence, antisemitism and guilt complexes in present-day Cologne. After a talk show appearance, she is asked to give a speech on Holocaust remembrance day, while her youngest son secretly suffers antisemitic hostility at school and the family loses its balance. It stars Oriana Schrage, Yahli Yogev, Mark Waschke and Adam Lukas.
