About
The Piano Duo Festival for Improvised & Experimental Music brings three piano duos together on two grand pianos on each of two evenings. It was initiated in 2024 by pianist Isabel Anders at the Kühlspot Social Club and is now carried by a small, growing team. On the second evening, Uli Gumptert & Oliver Schwerdt, Eli Wallace & Anaïs Tuerlinckx and Jordina Millà & Sten Sandell perform. The pianists from Austria, Sweden, the USA, Germany and Switzerland engage in a free, experimental musical dialogue without any given stylistic framework.
