Enchanting Colour: exhibition on colour photography.

The group exhibition „Enchanting Colour: Collection De Gambs & Marta Djourina (Do - Sa)“ explores the creative possibilities of colour photography from the 1940s to the present. It was conceived by Chaussee 36 Photography, which brings together works by seven significant photographers from the De Gambs collection in a dialogue with contemporary works by the Berlin-based artist Marta Djourina. On display is a selection of iconic pieces from fashion, nude and experimental photography, including prints never shown publicly before. The exhibition examines the enchanting, almost magical properties of colour and its ability to transcend reality.
