Eyma & Perrine

Eyma & Perrine present "This is the Girl", an intimate Chanson-Jazz dialogue between voice and piano that explores the boundaries of jazz and French chanson. Behind it are the French-Togolese singer, actress and composer EYMA and the award-winning jazz pianist Perrine Mansuy, who shifted their musical focus to the duo format in 2017. Their current project is a musical homage to Patti Smith, imagining her texts, figures and "constellation" in unique arrangements of their own. The result is a listening experience that unites the elegance of chanson with the joy of jazz improvisation.
