The Fahrradkommunalkonferenz is a central national networking event for cycling officials from municipalities and states, taking place for the twentieth time. It is hosted by the Mobilitätsforum Bund at the Bundesamt für Logistik und Mobilität (BALM) together with the host city as co-organiser, with major funding from the Federal Ministry of Transport. Under the motto „Radverkehr – modern, vernetzt, digital“, it focuses on knowledge transfer, dialogue on challenges and practical examples of promoting cycling. It opens with excursions and a transport-policy evening, followed on the second day by specialist forums, exchange formats, an exhibition and further excursions.
