Finissage mit Rundgang
Kunstbruecke Am Wildenbruch, Neukölln
About
A finissage with a guided tour offering a last chance to explore the exhibition “Unzucht – Kiss the Devil's Arse”. Artist Itchi Fleischer and curator Johanna Engemann invite visitors to view the work and talk with one another. Itchi Fleischer's first institutional solo exhibition questions, through the Christian iconography of sheep and goat — symbols of the supposed good and evil — the assignments with which the church has historically excluded and demonized women and queer people. Using photography, sculpture and performative activations, these roles are queered and the binary of good and evil broken open.
