A concert evening of tangos, klezmer and chansons of the 1920s. Singer Karolina Trybała performs with her trio "TATE-MAME" – accordion and violin – interpreting Yiddish and Polish interwar songs from Galicia that emigrated from Lemberg and Warsaw via Berlin to Paris, Tel Aviv and New York. Trybała collects and translates songs and has devoted herself for years to Jewish music from Galicia, the homeland of her ancestors. Poetry and joie de vivre bridge tradition and the present.
