About

An exhibition on the architect Josef Kaiser (1910–1991) at the Berlinische Galerie. He counts among the formative representatives of the GDR's "socialist" architecture. Together with his collective he carried out numerous state and municipal building projects between 1950 and 1980, among them the Berlin cinema Kino International. The show is devoted to his work and his role in building for the GDR.
