About
A curator-led tour of the exhibition "Josef Kaiser. Bauen für die DDR" at the Berlinische Galerie. The tour is led by Katharina Deppisch or Dominik Vukoja, staff members of the architecture collection. It focuses on architect Josef Kaiser (1910–1991), who shaped numerous representative East German state buildings between 1950 and 1984, including the Kino International on Karl-Marx-Allee. The exhibition shows his life and work for the first time through drawings, collages, photographs, films and models.
