About
A reading and conversation with author Friedrich Burschel, who talks about his own family research into the National Socialist era. At the centre is the volume „Present Past“, in which ten descendants describe how they investigated their family's Nazi past and how they deal with what they found. Burschel, who works on anti-fascism at the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung, contextualises the stories and then invites an audience discussion on memory politics. The event is part of the autumn series 2026 of the Neukölln bookshops against right-wing populism and racism.
