A reading from Hannah Mann's debut novel „Zeppelin und Karpfen“. The author found the courage to develop her own literary voice after studying political science and writing her first short texts. The book tells the story of three generations of women between origins and the present: the photographer Suzanna captures other people's dreams and keeps the family's ghosts at bay, until her mother disappears overnight and the family has no choice but to follow her into her memories. It is a book about emancipation and the longing for a home.
