Wir sind anders! Wie die DDR Frauen bis heute prägt
Forum Willy Brandt Berlin, Behrenstraße 15, 10117 Berlin, Mitte
About
A reading and conversation about the book „Wir sind anders!" by Annette Schuhmann. The historian from the Leibniz Centre for Contemporary History in Potsdam portrays 13 East German women – artists as well as workers, scientists as well as activists – and shows how memories, ruptures and origins continue to have an effect 35 years after reunification. Elke Sasse and Petra Steffan moderate, and the bookshop „Buchfink" joins in with a book table. A joint event by the Willy-Brandt-Haus Lübeck with the women's office of the city of Lübeck and the equal opportunities office of the city of Wismar; registration is required.
