MATTER OF PLACE – From Material Cycles to Places is an exhibition of works by students and alumni of greenlab – Labor für nachhaltige Designstrategien der weißensee kunsthochschule berlin, held as part of the festival CURRENTS. Design in Berlin. Curated by greenlab and Berlin TXL Management GmbH, Urban Tech Republic, it gathers projects that examine Berlin and its surroundings as an intertwined space of materials, living and action. At its centre is how regional resources can become starting points for a circular design practice and how place-making works as the collective making, caring for and renewing of places.
