About
„Mission:Reflexion“ – Geschichte aus verschiedenen Perspektiven“ is an exhibition at the Berliner Missionswerk that explores the history of the Berlin Mission since its founding in 1824. It is presented by the Berliner Missionswerk; the redesign was accompanied by an international group of researchers and curators, moderated by Dr. Friederike Krippner, with curator Dr. Sonja Grulke, supported by historian Mirja Memmen and implemented by Tamara Dauenhauer and Gordian Best. The exhibition invites a multi-perspective reflection and addresses historical and colonial entanglements, presented by researchers, historians, contemporary witnesses, descendants and partner churches, with numerous audio documents. It was made possible by funding from the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and the Stiftung Deutsche Klassenlotterie Berlin.
