Plasmática Fantástica <3 is a reading with sound essay by artist Nicole L’Huillier. She reads from her text “The Plasmatic Ensemble”, which grew out of conversations with cosmologists and theoretical physicists at CERN and at the ALMA and Paranal observatories and revolves around primordial sound waves and original sounds. The reading is accompanied by the sound essay of the same name, combining cosmic events, electromagnetic activity, a collective flute procession with the band La Chimuchina and hidden secrets of the Atacama Desert. It takes place in English in the Miriam Makeba Auditorium.
