About
Queering Nature is a tour through the exhibitions of the Museum für Naturkunde offering a queer-historical perspective on nature and science. The tour is run by the Museum für Naturkunde, which asks questions like: How is nature sexualized, how do researchers determine the sex of a dinosaur, and what does colonialism have to do with botany and plant sex? Answers are given through the hippopotamus, polar bear, or Tyrannosaurus rex in the exhibitions – and it also asks which and whose knowledge the museum (re)presents and what may remain hidden. The tour is also available via the museum's web-based Digital Guide on your own smartphone.
