About
"Rico, Oskar und die Tieferschatten" is a stage adaptation of the children's book of the same name, presented as musical theatre with numerous songs. The award-winning novel is considered the best-selling German children's and young adult book and is read at more and more Berlin schools. The story is about Rico, a boy from Dieffenbachstraße 93 in Kreuzberg who calls himself "low-gifted" because many things "fall out of his head". When he meets the "high-gifted" Oskar, a friendship quickly develops between the very different boys – but when Oskar suddenly disappears, Rico must throw all his fears overboard to rescue his friend.
