A memorial concert for the composer and harpsichordist Ruth Zechlin on the occasion of her 100th birthday, under the title „Es mußte so und durfte nicht anders sein!“. It takes place in the Studiosaal of the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, where Zechlin taught since its founding and was appointed professor of composition in 1969. Students of the university perform under the direction of Prof. Dr. Ute Henseler. Her catalogue of works comprises more than 300 titles of the most varied genres, from symphonies and operas to ballet music, solo concertos, chamber music and vocal works.
