About
SANKOFA STAGES is an evening of poetry, a concert and a DJ set in the cultural series at Berlin Global Village. Behind the series are Berlin Global Village and cooperation partners including Afrikarat Brandenburg e.V., ANEE e.V., Initiative Perspektivwechsel and Sister Cities in Action by Bernetzwerk. It puts African and Afro-diasporic perspectives at the centre and celebrates the creativity and diversity of African and Black art and cultural production in Berlin. The evening features a concert by DammyDaas, poetry by Fatim Selina, a DJ set by nilomcmusic and moderation by Maame Konadu; admission is free and no registration is needed.
