A public guided tour of the exhibition „Schicksal in den Sternen. Die Anfänge des Tierkreises“ at the Neues Museum. The exhibition was created in cooperation between the Museum of Egyptian Art and Papyrus Collection and the Museum of the Ancient Near East together with the research project „ZODIAC – Ancient Astral Science in Transformation“. Using artefacts from Berlin museums, some never shown before, it presents the history and meaning of the zodiac from Babylonia via Egypt to the Greco-Roman world. The tour answers questions about what the zodiac is, where it came from and how it spread across the world.
