Sunday tour: superlative trees.

The Sunday tour is a public guided walk across the open-air grounds of the Botanic Garden, today focusing on "Superlative der Bäume" (superlatives of trees). It is led by Detlev Dahlmann on behalf of the Botanic Garden and lasts 90 minutes. From the smallest to the oldest, from the largest to the rarest, impressive trees and their stories are discovered, as trees provide shade, are a raw material and habitat, and as enduring witnesses tell of the garden through changing times. The meeting point is the visitor centre at the Königin-Luise-Platz entrance, participation is limited to 20 people and registration is required.
