"Histories of Tanzania" is a public guided tour in English through the exhibition "Geschichte(n) Tansanias" at the Humboldt Forum. The exhibition was developed in cooperation with the National Museum of Tanzania and in dialogue with representatives of various communities in Tanzania. The tour offers insights into the provenance histories of the exhibits, addresses questions of restitution, and examines how cultural belongings are handled in museums today. Film interviews give Tanzanian representatives a voice, and outlooks on current debates round off the tour.
