About
Hyperrealistic puppet theatre in miniature format about Megan, who lives the American Dream and receives a luxury trip into space for her birthday. From the distance of space, the contradictions of a torn Earth become clearer than she expected, and her belief that everyone has the same chances begins to crumble. The Klaipėda Puppet Theatre from Lithuania creates a dazzling satire asking whether space travel is ultimately an escape from problems we created ourselves. It is part of the six-part, Europe-wide celebrated theatre series 'Transport' about mobility in a globalised world, with 3D-printed figures, an animation-film style of play and a 3D soundscape.
