About
A concert evening with two acts in the ThursdaySounds series, where the tik gives singer/songwriters and small bands a stage every Thursday. Trawy i Kamienie (Gräser & Steine) are an international Berlin trio around Zhenja Oks, Emilia Niezbecka and Stefan Ziemer who create music inspired by poems and images, moving between lyrical ballads, hip-hop swing and acoustic noise with elements of jazz and klezmer-blues, sung in their original languages. BEŁZA is the project of singer-songwriter Łukasz Bełza, born in Kraków, raised in Munich and now living in Berlin; his songs, mostly in Polish plus German and English, range from intimate acoustic sound to indie rock, telling of memory, love, time and the question of what home really is. Doors open at 8.30 pm, cash only at the tik.
