TURNBULL / SUNDLAND + CHLOË SOBEK

About
An evening of electro-acoustic improvisation at exploratorium berlin. The Berlin-based duo Turnbull/Sundland combine percussion, electronics, voice and extended-technique electric bass, their driving percussive energy and ethereal soundscapes at times sounding like more than two musicians. They are joined by Chloë Sobek, a Berlin-based Australian violone (Renaissance double bass) player, composer and improviser whose work explores 'disappearance', musical hyperreality and the reactivation of lost histories through her Renaissance violone.
