Tutti Frutti: The Temple of the Underground tells the story of a clandestine 1980s bar in Mexico City, a legendary venue that embodied a rebellious generation. Counterculture and music figures gathered there, creating space for artistic expression after years of repression. This was inspired by the social awakening that followed the 1985 earthquake and the Zapatista movement. The film by director Laura Ponte pays tribute to that place and its people.
