About
Priceless – Money, Power, Values is a special exhibition of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin at the Dahlem Research Campus in the Dahlem district. It examines how money shapes our perception of the world and what and who is considered valuable, linking the origins of money to questions of power and social structures. Objects from the collections of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation tell of global interconnections and shifts in value, from a Mayan stucco head to cocoa beans and returnable bottles. Interactive stations let visitors stamp banknotes, weigh values and listen to a hurdy-gurdy, and the exhibition was curated by trainees at the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation.
