About

Artist Liza Avem presents her current exhibition “Wa(h)re Gefühle”. She comes from the Bi+ community, is Ukrainian and has lived in Berlin since 2024. The series was created during inpatient therapy in occupational therapy and shows themes such as her passion for retail, emotions growing too big, bisexuality and WLW, the life of a Ukrainian woman in Germany and her love of birds. Her art expresses deep feelings connected to multiple discrimination, but also queer joy, gratitude and love.
