About

“Frauen und Revolution” is a theme evening with a discussion about what role female voices play in revolutions, then and now. From the revolutions of 1848 and 1918 to political upheavals around the world, it looks at women as actors in revolutionary movements and asks how they shape political change. Together the audience discusses female perspectives on revolution, democracy and social change; guests include the author Shila Behjat. The event takes place as part of the changing exhibition “Stimmen – Ein Ausstellungsexperiment zwischen Demokratiegeschichte und Gegenwart” in cooperation with the Berliner Landeszentrale für politische Bildung; admission is free, registration is requested.
