About
A workshop presenting different ways to research one's own family history during the National Socialist era, from knowledge passed down within the family to requests for information from archives. It centres on families in which perpetratorship or involvement in Nazi crimes is suspected or already known. In this second part, the focus is on deepening and contextualising research findings and dealing with possible challenges that arise during the research. The emotional aspects of asking relatives are also addressed; the workshops build on each other but can be attended separately.
