About
Alec Harper brings his All-Star swinging quintet to the 606 Club for an evening of live jazz. He is one of the leading tenor saxophonists of his generation, formerly of the UK outfit Kansas Smittys and a globe-touring musician with Tom Misch, Soft Cell and WDR Big Band. His quintet features James Copus on trumpet, Liam Noble on piano, Ferg Ireland on bass and James Maddren on drums. He also runs a weekly jazz night at Eastcheap Records in London, where young musicians can sit in with the band.
