Blessed Forgetful is a physical, devised theatre piece. It is created by Peculiar Matter, a London-based international theatre collective founded by director Sarah Hyojin Kim. The piece reimagines Germaine Pichot, remembered largely through the men who loved and painted her, including Picasso and Casagemas. Inspired by Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, it places a fantastical memory-erasing device in Germaine's hands and asks whether forgetting could become an act of care, or whether love survives even after memory is erased.
