About
An evening of jazz at 93 Feet East presented by the Brick Lane Jazz Festival. Tanhai Collective, a six-piece instrumental outfit drawing on classic soul jazz and the jazzier end of post rock, play groove-heavy, melodic music made with 70s production and recording techniques, for fans of Donald Byrd or Badbadnotgood. They are joined by Kotoa, a five-piece South London band of drummer Laurie Campling, bassist Frank Black, keyboard player Sam Hillier, guitarist and vocalist Memphis Koloi and saxophonist and vocalist Maia Avery. The night is an 18+ event, part of the festival's year-round series Brick Lane Sound, and takes place in the Live Room / The Courtyard.
