Rosie Turton & Miryam Solomon: 'maar' live.
EFG London Jazz Festival presents: Rosie Turton & Miryam Solomon’s MAAR
- Green Note
- £15
About
A live music evening at Green Note's basement bar, part of the EFG London Jazz Festival. Trombonist and modular synthesist Rosie Turton and vocalist Miryam Solomon perform their duo album 'maar' live, an exploratory conversation between voice, modular synthesizer and trombone that is contemplative, textural and at times fragile. Turton is a UK jazz scene artist named 'One To Watch' by The Guardian, blending meditative soundscapes with acoustic and electronic elements, while London-based Solomon, with roots in Sweden and Eritrea, is known for interlocking rhythms, vocal interplay and storytelling. The venue offers mixed seating and standing with limited tables on a first come first served basis, so arriving early is recommended for a seat.
