About

London Jazz Orchestra Vortex Sessions: The Pianists of the LJO is a jazz concert at the Vortex Club's monthly session. The London Jazz Orchestra, a unique big band of top soloists and writers directed by Scott Stroman, performs new music up-close-and-personal. This session features John Taylor, Pete Saberton, Nikki Iles and Alcyona Mick, the four pianists who have held the keyboard chair in the band, all original voices as players and writers. Their compositions and arrangements of their music by other band members are showcased.
