About
North London Jazz Collective returns to Green Note for a special gig, continuing their collaboration with gifted fellow travellers from overseas. Co-founder, London drummer Robbie Ellison, teams up with NYC-based double bass titan Paul Sikivie, fresh from Samara Joy's band, and former London resident Ofer Landsberg, a world-class guitarist who has shared the bandstand with bebop giants such as Frank Hewitt and Jimmy Lovelace. Expect swinging grooves, pretty chords, elegant melodies and big vibes. The collective brings together some of the UK's finest jazz musicians, spanning swing, bebop, trad, manouche, fusion and contemporary jazz.
