About

Harlots, Strumpets & Tarts Walking Tour is an immersive, theatrical walking tour through eighteenth-century London's sex industry. It was created by Herstorical Tours, whose guide Maria Beadell appears as 'The Baroness', leading visitors from Covent Garden station through the backstreets to a tavern finale, telling through street theatre and character comedy the stories of the women of the Georgian sex trade. The tour lasts about two hours, involves walking and standing, is for over-18s, and includes free entry to the Foundling Museum, which is not part of the tour itself.
