About
High School Musical is an upbeat, joyful stage musical based on the 2006 Disney Channel original movie that became a pop culture sensation. With a book by David Simpatico and music by Bryan Louiselle, it is set at the fictional East High School, where basketball hero Troy Bolton and brainy Gabriella Montez fall in love, pitting their opposing social circles against each other. The show stars Tobias Turley as Troy, Leonor Correia as Gabriella, Caitlin Tipping as Sharpay Evans and Luke Bayer as Ryan Evans, with Harry Judd as Coach Bolton and KayCee Stroh as Ms Darbus. Its catchy score features favourites like Breaking Free, We're All In This Together and Get'cha Head in the Game.
