About

The Full Monty is a feel-good musical stage adaptation of a classic British comedy film about male strippers, playing at the New Wimbledon Theatre. It is based on the 1997 film written by Oscar-winner Simon Beaufoy and starring Mark Addy, with the new stage production directed by Michael Gyngell and choreography by Ian West. In the story, six unemployed men in Sheffield decide to become male strippers to make some money in a cost of living crisis, and discover surprising truths about themselves along the way. The tour celebrates the thirtieth anniversary of the iconic film and promises an uplifting journey full of heart, humour and contagious dance and musical numbers.
