About
Jazz Night at Next Door Records is a monthly session presented by the Alasdair Pennington Trio. Pennington is a drummer and composer who has established himself as a creative voice in the London jazz and improvised music scenes, performing across Europe at venues and festivals including Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and the EFG London Jazz Festival. With Benji Bown on piano and Sam Ingvorsen on double bass, the trio plays American Songbook repertoire, contemporary jazz standards and original compositions, with a changing line-up of sought-after improvising musicians and special guests each month.
