About
Sunday Unplugged Jazz: Joe Baz is a jazz gig at Next Door Records Two, presented by Next Door Records and open to all ages. It features Joe Baz, a London saxophonist, composer and improviser and Royal Academy of Music graduate, whose own projects blend influences from 20th-century classical composers and folk musics from around the world. He leads his Quintet (featuring Scottie Thompson, Zaki Osahn, Finn Genockey and Toby Evans), which has played sold-out shows at venues such as KOKO and Earth Hackney, and he performs around London as a sideman with acts including the Afro-Beat band Kedu, folk rock band Running Standard and hip-hop duo Sonic Daze.
