About
Jurassic Oceans: Monsters of the Deep is an exhibition at the Natural History Museum that takes visitors deep into Earth's prehistoric oceans. It presents the legends of ancient waters, from the pliosaur and the dolphin-like ichthyosaur to the mosasaur, described as the T. rex of the sea. Created by the museum's expert palaeontologists, it features millions-of-years-old fossils, bite-sized science and hands-on discovery, including touching a mosasaur tooth, feeling shark's skin and even fossil poo. The exhibition explores how marine reptiles rose to dominance and invites visitors aged 8 and above to decide who was the most ferocious of them all.
