About

Family Festival: Ocean October is a week of family-friendly activities themed around prehistoric ocean creatures. It is run by the Natural History Museum at its South Kensington home. Visitors can explore deep-sea monsters and dinosaurs through shows, hands-on workshops, storytelling, behind-the-scenes tours and an exhibition. Highlights include a T. rex puppet show, shark detective sessions, pond exploring and a mixed-reality journey into the future natural world.
