About

Little Dancer: A New Musical is an enchanting new musical having its first fully staged production in the UK after sold-out concert performances last year. It is inspired by the real-life story of Marie van Goethem, the young ballerina who posed for Edgar Degas's famous sculpture The Little Fourteen-Year-Old Dancer, and explores her untold story and her relationship with Degas in Belle Epoque Paris. It features a book by Lynn Ahrens and music and lyrics by Stephen Flaherty, and is directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman. The company is led by New York City Ballet Principal Dancer Tiler Peck in the titular role.
