About

Manon is a three-act ballet performed on the Main Stage of the Royal Opera House. Kenneth MacMillan choreographed this 1974 work for The Royal Ballet, set to music by Jules Massenet with designs by Nicholas Georgiadis. It tells of Manon, torn in 18th-century Paris between her love for the student Des Grieux and the tempting riches of Parisian society. The performance lasts approximately 2 hours 45 minutes including two intervals and is suitable for ages 14+.
