About

SCULPTING LIGHT is an exhibition by Celia Dowson and Yoriko Murayama at Flow Gallery. Murayama works with tied, unrefined silk that keeps a hard translucency while the scoured thread turns white and lustrous, creating a depth filled with light. Dowson's work has satin qualities that give it an artifactual feel, weathered and ground down over time, with material that feels like time, movement, landscape and light. The exhibition runs into January 2027.
