About
'Making Sense of Humanity' is a collaborative exhibition by two local creatives: contemporary jeweller and Society of Designer Craftsmen member Emily Smith, and fine artist Rosie Parmley, exploring themes of humanity. Since 2022, the two have put together an exhibition each year, working individually and coming together for these projects. The show is a mixed media collage of their work, blending paint, metal and ceramic, sharing contemporary styles, a passion for social and humanitarian values, and a use of figures. Each piece is handcrafted, and the curation invites visitors to sit, relax and take in the stories of our times in a fresh, engaging setting.
